The Wider Curriculum
At SS John and Monica's, we prioritise teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and maths every day to ensure that all pupils acquire the basic skills for learning and life. These skills are used and practised across other subjects in a cross-curricular approach.
We teach the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum using various strategies. We aim to provide children with a richly broad and balanced curriculum that is innovative, broad, and varied, using various teaching methods and learning styles. Our approach aims to provide a stimulating environment that encourages proactive learners and inspires each child.
